Abstract
This paper deals with generation of virtual sound image in qwiet field which is the combination idea of virtual sound image and active noise control. Optimal control law which minimizes total of the square of the sound pressure in arbitrary domains is derived. Numerical simulation is carried out, demonstrating the control effect for minimizing total of the square of the sound pressure. The validity and the problem of the optimal control law which was derived were clarified.
