Abstract
In this study, tensile test and creep deformation for nuclei of cultured osteoblasts was performed. Two micropipettes having needle-tip (microneedle) stuck and held a nucleus. The load applied to the nucleus was measured by the deflection of a microneedle used as a cantilever, whose spring constant was calibrated after each test. As a result, stress-strain diagram was obtained and the elastic modulus was determined. And increase of elongation of nucleus applied the constant tensile load was measured. Fourelement model for viscoelasticity was introduced and parameter of each element was determined.
