Abstract
Cells have been researched using chemical reactions of proteins in the biochemical field for years. In this review, I introduce dynamical approach to understanding of structure and function of cells. As cells consist of cytoskeletons and focal adhesions as frame and support structures respectively, the dynamic characteristics of cells can be measured and modeled as one of structural systems. Using the dynamical approach along with the biochemical approach, we can understand the whole mechanism of cell response to mechanical stimulation such as variation of shape and protein production of cells.
