Abstract
Viscoelastic materials are often used as damping materials for reducing vibration and noise. However, in order to reduce vibration and noise effectively, viscoelastic materials must be designed, taking each condition into consideration. Generally, dynamic properties of viscoelastic materials are controlled by the parameters of polymer, crosslinking density, filler and plasticizer. Therefore it is necessary to find relationships between dynamic properties of viscoelastic materials and them. In this paper, using some specimens of diene rubber, we examine the relationships between five parameters of fractional dynamic model and crosslinking density, molecular weight of side chain, weight average molecular weight.
