Abstract
Because the reliability falls remarkably when the damage occurs to a structure by corrosion or looseness of a bolt, it is very important to detect the damage at its early stage. In a general structure, the detection of the damage is difficult from the viewpoint of following; (a) a structure is supported at plural points, (b) the damage is easy to occur at a support, (c) it is necessary to estimate how much damage occurred at which point in detecting the damage. In this study, we focused our attention on structures such as bridges supported at multiple points and suggested technique to identify the support condition and parameters of a member of structure and got a good identification result.
