Abstract
A magnetic levitation is a system without contact. The repulsive magnetic levitation have a static stability, however, it is less dynamic stability, because dissipative energy is not enough. And active control has a drawback to consume external energy. In this study, it was used that regenerated energy as electric power obtained by motion of generator instead of external energy. On the simulations and experiments, to add a random vibration, then optimal control is applied to get the target control force. As a result approximate Self-Powered active control performance better than passive system and obtains vibration characteristic near active control.
