Abstract
A metal wire rope type damper unit can expect the good attenuation effect in a wide range frequency band, several hundred and below, according to the oscillating attenuation effect by friction of metal. However, depending on the object apparatus of isolation, high frequency vibration of 500Hz or more becomes a problem. For example, the object apparatus may resonate with the natural frequency of apparatus and a noise problem may occur. Then, We manufactured the isolation equipment constituted from a metal wire rope type damper unit, and clarified the oscillation characteristic over high frequency vibration by the shaking examination which used the random wave. In this paper, the results of shaking examination and the performance of simply manufacturable vibration-proof design are reported.
