Abstract
This paper investigates the application of Statistical Energy Analysis(SEA) to a rotary machinery system. Since such the machinery is composed of structures that mode counts are very low, the application of SEA is severe then the Energy Analysis Model(EA model) is tried to be applied. First, the vibration characteristics of the rotary machinery with three specifications are measured. Then, our process for reducing the vibration using SEA is applied to them for building SEA and EA models and identifications of power input during operations. As a result, the differences of vibration characteristics on the three specifications can be described by the process.
