Abstract
The objective of this paper is to investigate influence of in-plain vibration on SEA models building. First, compliances of in-plain longitudinal and out-of-plane bending vibrations on two elastic beam system is discussed. Next, analytical SEA approach and FEM calculations are performed to compare the SEA models with and without in-plain subsystems. In analytical SEA, out-of-plane energy without in-plain subsystems becomes bigger compared to out-of-plane energy with in-plain subsystems as the frequency increase. In the SEA model using FEM, in-plain energy becomes bigger only the frequency with in-plane longitudinal modes.
