732 A Study of Active Noise Control at the Opening with a Louver

Abstract

The purpose of this study is about noise reduction by Active Noise Control at the opening with a louver which installed Piezoelectric Vibrator. From the viewpoint of improvement of appearance and privacy, louvers are used at large opening aimed for air conditioning and ventilation. In late years, in a house and an apartment, a leak of a sound from the opening which installed a louver becomes a problem. The experimental results show that noise reduction is obtained from 5dB to 30dB at control point by ANC system.
