Abstract
This study aims at achieving simultaneous realization of ride comfort and steering stability in the controller design for semi-active suspension considering the most sensitive frequency range of human body and vehicle behavior for steering feel. In this study, the algorithm which can improve both the ride comfort and steering stability is proposed by separating the control range in terms of frequency domain. In consideration of the above concepts, we designed frequency weightings and the criterion function in frequency domain. Furthermore, we proposed the design of the integrated controller which could lose a phase difference (pitch and a roll) to improve a feeling of human steerage as well as a controller for vibration reduction in this study. And we confirmed utility of the suggestion technique through simulation.
