Abstract
The low vibration and noise design of air-conditioners becomes the most important issue. In this paper, the estimation method of structure-borne sound from fan is presented. The experiment that axially excited the fan and the measurement of the resin characteristics that used the test pieces were carried out. Moreover, the numerical analysis was carried out by using the material properties, and the high accuracy result was obtained. As a result,the vibration noise radiated from the fan by the excitation power generated by the motor in the proposed analytical flow was able to predict.
