Abstract
The goal of this study is to realize the motion control of multi-degrees-of-freedom system by the distributed control utilizing an entrainment. We examined forced and mutual entrainment by a basic element which is two mass self-excited oscillator connected by a spring. In the mutual entrainment, when two elements are connected by a spring and a damper, two types of entrainments were generated. Firstly, one element is a oscillating action and another one is a damping action. Secondly, both elements are oscillating actions. Moreover, we investigated the mutual entrainment in the case that two elements are connected almost rigidly.
