Abstract
In this paper, we suggest a new control method for Steer-by-Wire vehicle. This method is based on optimal control. Generally, nonlinear optimal control requires complicated calculations and an assessment of second degree order with respect to input. To solve this problem, we apply optimal control of mechanical system based on energy equation. And we confirm on the simulation that this method has robustness for the arithmetic error of the slip velocity.
