Abstract
In a drum-type washing machine, when rotating speed exceeds 1000[rpm], the frame-panels cause elastic deformation and generate radiated noise. Recently, for the solution of such a problem, the researches used CAE are performed. In this work, first, we constructed a vibration analytical model that considered vibration mode of the frame-panel in order to evaluate the vibration and the radiated noise of a drum-type washing machine. Simulation results were quite similar to experimental results. Finally, using the constructed analytical model, design parameters tests to reduce the vibration of the machine subject were conducted. As a result, low-vibration design was proposed.
