Abstract
Recently, the concern for the low noise design of the hoisting machines has been growing. The structure of hoisting machine differ from general electric motors, and the influence of the noise radiated from the rotor is large. In this report, the experimental modal analysis and the numerical vibration noise analysis of the hoisting machine were carried out, and the high accuracy result was obtained. As a result, the characteristic of structure-borne sound radiated from the stator and rotor of hoisting machine by the electromagnetic force was clarified, and the low noise design of thin type hoisting machine was achieved.
