Abstract
This paper describes acoustic characteristics of opening with louver. The louver is used for a lot of mechanical components at ventilation aperture of package. In this research, the sound near field was clarified from the numerical analysis (FEM, BEM) and the sound intensity measurement. From the analytical results, distribution of sound pressure level inner package and around louver was visualized. Moreover, the analytical results agree qualitatively with experimental sound intensity (SI) distribution.
