Abstract
Prediction of the structure-borne noises based on analysis of vibration has been significant issue for railway viaduct, since it causes an excessive degree of noise attributable to vibrations of the structural members such as floor slab. After some examinations, it has been revealed that the method based on the analysis of flexure vibration of members can successfully predict the vibration of the members of the structure and noise generated from those, with application of improvements such that a part of sub-systems is changed to 3-dimentional model and mortar damping layer is newly introduced as a model.
