Abstract
In order to investigate the relationship between rolling noise of casters and its use conditions, the rolling noises of bags with wheels on a flat path (linoleum floor) and a unevenness path (asphalt pavement) was measured under three kinds of loaded weights (0, 7.5, 15 kg) using a sound level meter and a PCM recorder. In spite of the conditions of the moving paths, the heavier the loaded weight become, the lower the noise became. The unevenness paths, which are the textured paving block and the asphalt pavement, caused the increase in the rolling noise level.
