Abstract
The quake absorbing structure is a structure to soften the influence of the earthquake by using accumulating rubber that it is not easily to transmit shake and Damper absorbs to oscillation energy between the building and the base. The purpose of the present study is a thing to develop a small and light seismic isolator as part of means that defends the work of art from the earthquake. The spring is installed in the device, so characteristic frequency of the developed seismic isolator is 0.25[Hz]. And, the compression spring is installed in the friction slope, and a horizontal seismic force is decreased by the resilience and the frictional force of the compression spring.
