Abstract
Recently, improving ride quality has been demanded in development of automobile. Therefore, it is important to specify the evaluation indicator for taking the discomfort-decrease measures. This paper investigated the vibratory sensibility characteristics and the human vibratory characteristics to the coupled vibration in order to identify the evaluation indicator. From these results, human vibration responses were investigated by observing the relative movements of body parts from side-view and rear-view. As a result, improving ride quality was found by decreasing lateral vibration at chest and pelvis and vibration magnitude of body parts.
