In the hybrid car automotive field, a method for regenerating electric energy to battery or capacitor efficiently while controlling the braking force is widely used by the circuit using a boost chopper. We have proposed to extend the chopper circuit of the electrical system to the hydraulic system. However, the phenomenon in hydraulic system is complex as compared with the phenomenon in electric system and it is difficult to understand the impact of various parameters. In this paper, at first, in other to understand the energy regenerative mechanism and impact of various parameters, we consider linear hydraulic system equivalent to the chopper circuit of the electric system. And we derive the theoretical solution. Next, after we investigate the effect of non-linear damping of the valve that is specific in the hydraulic circuit, we perform a parameter survey by numerical simulation in case of the energy regenerative method applying a typical hydraulic system for use in construction equipment. We compere the results obtained by the parameter survey and theoretical solution of simple model and establish the cause that is occurred the difference, thereby we try to understand the phenomenon and get the prospect.
