Abstract

Many phenomena existing in mechanical structures have nonlinear characteristics such as play and friction, the response characteristic of the vibration system subjected to random input is a so-called non-gaussian random process. For the handling of these data, it is essential to apply statistical methods and analyze using higher-order statistics considering non-gaussian. The purpose of this research is to apply statistical method in higher-order frequency response analysis in asymmetric nonlinear vibration system using higher-order spectra (HOS) and present the effectiveness of this method. In this report, experimental analysis by magnetic spring model is carried out, and higher-order spectral analysis considering input/output is studies.
