Abstract
This paper is to introduce the concept of "two-sided" shape in solid modeling. The two-sided shape can represent sheet metal plates in natural manner, and it can be widely used in automobile parts design, for example. The authors propose a rounding (filleting) robust algorithm for two-sided shape in parametric solid modeling.
