These days robust and/or reliability design has become more and more important in the products under many kinds of imprecision, including human errors, modeling errors and so on. Reliability design treats imprecision of design variables and parameters that are known before the design process and assure that the failure will never occur within the certain percentage. Then, robust design must treat the problem that treat imprecision of design variables considering the situation of design parameters with and without their imprecision. Considering those conditions, it becomes multi-objective optimization problem. Then, we need to consider how to derive Pareto solutions and how to use it as utility function as design information. In this study, we treat derivation of Pareto solutions using MOGA.
