Abstract
In this paper, vibration and acoustic behaviors of a newly developed floating ladder track when wheel loads are applied are numerically studied. The wheel loads when a train runs on the track are modeled with a triangle-shaped impact load. Total sound power when an impact load is applied on the track is obtained. The relationship between the sound power generated by a triangle-shaped impact load on the track and spring coefficient of rail pad is studied.
