Abstract
As the requirement of large-scale structure analysis becomes stronger, the expectation of parallel computing becomes higher. Since eigenvalue solution of sparse matrix is the most important part of the large-scale vibration analysis, it is indispensable to program the eigenvalue solution into the parallel computers efficiently. Then, in this paper, we present a parallel finite element eigenvalue analysis program based on the reverse Lanczos algorithm. This program is evaluated on SGI Origin 2000 and compared with NASTRAN.
