Abstract
This paper describes the traffic simulation in the urban city by using cellular automata and the stochastic velocity model. The local rule of the cellular automata simulation and the concept of the stochastic velocity model are described firstly. The present simulaion method is applied to the simulatio of the urban city traffic. The simulation results are compared with the simulator evaluation model of Japan Society of Traffic Engineers.
