Abstract
NEXST_Magnetic is a module developed in "Structural Analysis : The Next Generation (NEXST)" Group for analysis of three-dimensional (3D) magnetic fields. NEXST_Magnetic supports two analyses. The first is nonlinear magnetostatic analysis. The second is non-steady eddy current analysis. In addition, NEXST_Magnetic also supports an evaluation of the electromagnetic force with these computational results. In this paper, the outline of functions of NEXST_Magnetic is introduced. It is confirmed that NEXST_Magnetic can analyze problems with five million degrees of freedom. Moreover, accuracy of the analysis is verified to show its effectiveness.
