Abstract
Project-Based-Learning (PBL) is increasingly becoming a popular engineering education at universities. In this article, we report on the attempt of global PBL education in the coursework for Tokyo Metropolitan Institute of Technology and Stanford University. These classes are taught based on the principle of PBL, which encourages students to find a solution by themselves with the aim of developing the abilities to cope with the complex and quickly changing society. It is described what were experienced and it is discussed what seem to be important from these pieces of experience.
