Abstract
We have developed a simulation code which predicts the film thickness of the electro-deposition coating for automotive bodies. In order to verify this code accuracy, we have done a calculation for the electro-deposition experiment of a simple shape model. The calculated results agreed with the experimental results very well not only qualitatively, but also quantitatively. In addition, we applied this code to the automotive bodies. The analysis results mostly agreed with the results obtained from the experiment with the center pillar and the side sill. This paper will describe the contents and application case of this analysis code.
