Abstract
When parts with a complicated shape are dipped into coating liquid, the air may be trapped inside. We call this phenomenon an air-pocket. The most popular method to predict the air-pocket is a 2 phases flow analysis of coating liquid and air. However, it takes much time to calculate by this method. Therefore, the feed back to designers is delayed. Our technique is the method that produces bubble particles from the parts surface and traces these bubble particles. As a result of calculation with a simple geometric model, the effectiveness of our technique was confirmed. This paper will describe the examination results of our technique.
