The concept of Human-Centered Design is a key word of product development in recent years. We also begin to work on the product concept development and the design development that introduces Human-Centered Design process presented with ISO13407 in the product development support to enterprises in Hokkaido. Human-Centered Design is an approach that shifts the design object from product to activity, so task analysis that catch the use activity of product by user and extract the user requirements of each act that composes each activity is assumed to be an effective technique. In this paper we introduce Human-Centered Design process tried in the prototype development of chair ski for seriouly handicapped children, and report on effectiveness and problems of the approach in each process.
