Abstract
This paper describes the results of fundamental study of simple mechanical analysis using beam element. The main methods used in order to treat a link mechanism are three items shown below, (1) The static linear FEA program of three dimensions using beam element (scalar spring is included). (2) Joint is expressed by making the rotational stiffness of the end of a beam into zero. (3) By adding a linear calculation result step-by-step, geometric nonlinearity is simply taken into consideration. The validity of this method was shown by some example calculations.
