Abstract
Some tools based on the concept of First Order Analysis have been presented for finding out some good design candidates effectively in initial design phase. Joint stiffness is very significant for the adequate evaluation in these tools. We tried to optimize joint stiffness using Radial Basis Function Network and Adaptive Range Genetic Algorithms. However, we could not obtain the optimal value only if on the boundary area. In order to overcome the above problem, we propose the modified optimization method and demonstrate by using the basic Tjoint structure.
