Abstract
The improvement of drill cutting is almost doing experimentally. It is preferable to shift to nonlinear FEM simulation from experimentation, because simulation is small cost and short span of time on the improvement and development. Additionally, cutting tests by new cutting conditions have difficulty and dangerous. Therefore, we present these drill cutting simulation. In this study, a drilling process is executed by 3 dimensional nonlinear FEM simulation. The validity of the simulation model and its result is discussed.
