Abstract
English uses different verbs for describing different situations, while Japanese uses the same verb for different situations. But in QFD, Quality Function Deployment, this difference of languages is not well discussed. But if we note that Japanese use the same verb for many different situations, Japanese use adverbs or onomatopoeia (sound effect words) to describe the situation. Thus, QFD should take into consideration such difference of languages to really describe the design requirements.
