Abstract
In curve design, it is important to grasp and manipulate the macroscopic shape information that emerges from the combination of shape elements. Since the evaluation of macroscopic shape information is usually based on the experience and intuition of a designer, the construction of a quantitative representation method of macroscopic shape information is desired. From these backgrounds, we studied for the construction of quantification method of "complexity", the macroscopic shape information, and that of diverse curved profile generation method that allows manipulation of "complexity."
