Abstract
In this paper, we propose a method of the effective information management in safety knowledge for experiment and exercises in education. By using the safety knowledge dictionary, the words that related to safety knowledge is automatically retrieved from an experimental plan written by students. The dictionary holds local safety knowledge corresponding to the person, the thing or the material, operation or work. The lack of the demand words and the appearance of the prohibition words are detected by comparing the co-occurrence of words from experimental plan and the dictionary item. The proposed method is implemented as software described in Java so that the method is executed in internet environment. The method and software are applied to two simple experiments to examine and confirm the validity and feasibility of the proposed method.
