Abstract
By means of the multiple interference phenomenon of light, window pane with optical multilayer coatings is able to control solar energy and the color through the window. It is important to design the color according to the user's own preferences for residential usage. On the other hand, the chromaticity diagram can indicate a specific color by using RGB values in the two-dimensional diagram. In this paper, the color of the outside view is designated by the chromaticity diagram. Furthermore the optimum structure of the multilayer coatings is designed to satisfy the user's sense of the color by the inverse analysis to identify the spectral transmission factor.
