Abstract
To enhance designers' creativity during collaborative design processes, this research focuses on designers' individual differences, especially the differences in their evaluations, and develops a new method for analyzing their differences. In the proposed method, designers first individually evaluate ideas from the viewpoints of numerical performance and semantic interpretation. The system then analyzes designers' evaluations and reveals the details of their differences. For example, which ideas cause great differences in designers' evaluations? or which pairs of designers have greatly different viewpoints or recognitions in their idea evaluation? By utilizing revealed individual differences, designers can explore new ideas more effectively and efficiency.
