Abstract
Because of the relaxation of regulations by Japanese government, Japanese airline companies can sell various airline tickets in recent years. However, it is difficult to plan the best sales strategy to maximize their revenues. According to an analysis of actual sales data which airline companies have, there are some types of customers and their booking and purchasing behavior has each character. This paper discusses and proposes one model of decision-making process of choosing tickets depends on customers and a simulation system using a method of Multi Agent Simulation. In this research, we developed the simulator of booking and purchasing behavior for domestic airline tickets in order to know how to change the market demand and sales when airline companies change their sales strategies.
