Abstract
Service design has been attracting concerns as not only an important research topic but also a practical issue in business. Though a large amount of methods and methodologies to analyse and design service processes have been proposed, how to choose an adequate method or methodology in response to features and design objectives of services still remains as a challenging issue. In this study, the authors propose a meta-methodology for service process design to determine a suitable method or methodology for a design object and explain how it is applied to service cases.
