A thermo-magnetic motor is a device that converts thermal energy into mechanical energy by using a temperature-sensitive magnetic material and permanent magnets. The thermal energy used in the thermo-magnetic motor is intended to recover unused hot wastewater. The thermo-magnetic motor proposed by one of the authors in the past has low power and cannot be put into practical use. There is insufficient knowledge about the design of the motor structure and the interrelationship of design parameters. It is important to clarify them by constructing a numerical analysis model of a thermo-magnetic motor that can evaluate the power. In this study, the relationship between the rotor thickness and rotation speed of the thermo-magnetic motor is examined. As a result, it was confirmed that power decreases as the thickness of the rotor increases at each rotation speed. It was also found that the maximum power at each thickness of the rotor did not change significantly.
