Abstract

The layout design of the solar arrays depends on the design parameter of solar array received sunlight for annual. The amount of received light of the entire megasolar plant is depended to tilted angles, azimuth angles, intervals, center coodinates and the number of solar arrays. The number of solar arrays is determined based on the shape of site and the design parameter of solar array. The site has a complex shape, and there are places such as concave shape and multiple-connected shape where arrays cannot be placed. Therefore, it is necessary to determine whether the array can be installed. This study examines the placement optimization of solar arrays in a site with multiply-connected region. The installable area is determined to the winding number algorithm. As a result, the annual amount of the received light increased in site of multiply-connected region using proposed method.
