Abstract
A probe climber for the stratospheric platform means the elevator that is goes up and down the tether lowered from the airship automatically and the atmospheric observation and maintained. In this report, the 150m climbing test were done in order to mechanism of the probe climber for the stratospheric platform is examined. The data collection in a situation near the reality or more of the twist of the tether by the wind etc. that were not able to be reproduced indoors was done. And a construction purpose stratospheric platform, a string-track of the stratospheric platform will be discussed. We also show construction process for a stratospheric platform and its fundamental experiment results by using a probe climber.
