Abstract
By adopting liquid crystal to an elevator control panel information to be displayed increases, and the convenience of the elevator may improve. Furthermore, we balance it with the correspondence for the sense of color handicapped person by considering a tone of color in the display. To improve the operability of the control panel even though many floors exist in a high-rise building, we constitute it without reducing number of the button. we developed the horizontal button layout with the visually impaired coped with. On the other hand, we introduce the control panel in the cage that the convenience of the wheelchair user improves without reducing the effective area in the cage by reviewing a control panel for wheelchairs and the position relations of the handrail.
