Abstract
Improvement of the elevator performance of transport is essential issues for making users feel more comfortable. We developed a variable speed driving elevator for improvement of transport efficiency. The elevator system can change traveling speed depending on the car load without changing a drive device by utilizing weight balance between the car and the counterweight. We have developed a super variable driving elevator system which greatly improves the performance of transport by optimal system design. The system increases traveling speed depending on the car load up to the limit of drive device and it also increases car acceleration depending on the car load to decrease traveling time even in short travel. In order to achieve both high performance and high system reliability, we provide the system with overload protection features of a drive device. The outline is shown about the feature and the effect of the elevator system in this paper.
