Abstract
The amount of the CO_2 emissions of the air-conditioner for the data center was evaluated by the LCA. The amount of the CO_2 emissions in the use process accounted for 98% of the whole in all processes. Therefore, it is important in the CO_2 emissions reduction to improve the COP of the air-conditioner. In addition, the breakdown situations of the air-conditioner connected with the refrigerant leakage were investigated. The amount of the CO_2 emissions showed an increase by 0.1-0.3% by considering the refrigerant leakage under operation.
