Abstract

This lecture overviews ongoing R&D efforts of the Japan Atomic Energy Agency (JAEA) for the decommissioning of Tokyo Electric Power Company Holdings, Inc. (TEPCO)’s Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station (NPS), particularly focused on R&D outcomes related to fuel debris retrieval and waste management.
